My passion for children?s books has never left me, even though I'm now supposedly a grown-up! So it was thrilling to land my dream first job, designing for Orchard Books. I started on the fiction list, but expanded to working on picture books, poetry and gift books too - just about everything! Since then, I've worked for Gullane, Orchard (again!) and from 2006, for Egmont as Senior Designer on the picture book list. I love working with wise old illustrators and enthusiastic new illustrators alike. Sarah Malley is Senior Designer of Egmont UK.
