Steve Hartley’s story Danny Baker Record Breaker was selected for the inaugural 2008 SCBWI Undiscovered Voices anthology, and was subsequently snapped up by Macmillan.
The first two books in the series, The World’s Biggest Bogey, and The World’s Awesomest Air-Barf will be published on 1st January 2010, with two more titles to follow in July 2010.
In June, Bogey was long-listed for the 2010 Waterstones’ Children’s Book Prize. As well as the Danny Baker series, Steve is currently working on a novel for age 12+.
Steve lives in Lancashire with his wife and teenage daughter. He works for a pharmaceutical company, and knows more about sputum than he ever wanted to.
