Jane has around thirty published books for young children, and more in the pipeline, plus poems in many children's anthologies. Her picture books include Knight Time and the award-winning Stuck in the Mud and Gilbert the Great.

Jane also ghost writes for the Working Partners group - as Rex Stone for the OUP series Dinosaur Cove and as Hayley Daze for the Ladybird series Puddle the Naughtiest Puppy.
