Linda Chapman

Linda Chapman is the best-selling author of the series My Secret Unicorn, Stardust, Not Quite a Mermaid, Unicorn School, Sky Horses, Skating School and Superpowers (under the name Alex Cliff). She also ghostwrites under other names. She has written two novels Bright Lights and Centre Stage and, in collaboration with Steve Cole, Genie Us and Genie and the Phoenix. The first book in her latest series for 9+ readers, Loving Spirit, will be published in August 2010 and she is currently working on a new collaboration with Lee Weatherly, a 6+ series called Sophie and the Shadow Woods which will be published in 2011.

Linda was born in Liverpool in 1969 and now lives in Leicestershire with her husband, three children, two dogs and a pony. When she is not writing, Linda likes to ride, read and visit schools and libraries to talk to people about writing.
