Amber Caravéo is Editorial Director at Orion Children’s Books. She joined Orion Children's Books in 2010 from Random House.
Before that she was at Working Partners, and many years ago she used to create children's titles for a magazine company – heady days when she interviewed stars such as Gordon the Gopher!
She has an MA in Children's Literature and has been privileged to work with a host of wonderful and award-winning authors, including Linda Newbery, Narinder Dhami, Geraldine McCaughrean, Cliff McNish and Caroline Lawrence to name but a few.
She has also enjoyed editing and developing various fun and fantastical series for children including Rainbow Magic and Gargoylz. Amber lives near Maidenhead with her husband and too many cats!
