Sharon ChaiSharon Chai is Senior Designer at Macmillan's Children Books. She joined in September 2010.

Fresh from the sunny shores of Sydney, Australia, she moved to London in 2003 she spent a year at Egmont Children's books working on their 5+ titles, range from learning books, to fiction covers and the Banana books.

She left after a year to work in a design studio — Stylorouge, that specialised in album covers and working for the music industry.

After six years, her passion for children's books was too strong and returned once again to the publishing induMacmillan Children's Booksstry.

At Macmillan she enjoys working closely in a team on a range of titles- ranging from up and coming illustrators, (including recent Macmillan prize winners), to books in the Gruffalo brand, and more commercial titles.
